In this personal work from 2009 we see Mueller consumed by his inner torments. Mueller captures himself laying on the ground in anguish; he is surrounded by a lyrical collage of his own writing and quotes from a variety of song texts. By yielding to his agonies for three days and documenting his thoughts and feelings “The Baron of Solitude” grew into a sincere testimony — the conserved tracks of a spiritual journey that can be retraced and explored.
