This particular chapter sees our hero go through his usual afternoon routine. Mueller puts the emphasis on creating mood rather than being a storyteller. Some observers may notice an homage to Belgian cartoonist Morris in the upper center (some others may go so far as to call it a blatant ripoff). Contrasting colors isolate the passage visually from the rest of the page. The original from the pages of Lucky Luke left a deep impression on a three year old Mueller — it was an early glimpse at the magic the medium is capable of.
