This drawing was created upon request of Manuel Espírito Santo, consulting editor of Fantagraphics’ series The Complete Crepax and features Guido Crepax’ character Valentina. Mueller’s version of Valentina is a much more voluptuous woman than the character we know from Crepax’ stories. The drawing seems to capture the exact moment where boredom is replaced by sensuality and aimlessness becomes devotion.
