Bon Voyage exhibition.

Back in October (what feels like an eternity ago), shortly before Germany embarked on a long shut down, I spent a week at the Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst to put one of my larger works on one of the museums hallowed walls. The mural-comic is part of YOUR WAY, an homage-installation that celebrates the conceptual artist Stanley Brouwn and which aims to encourage visitors to participate in one of Brouwn’s works. My humble contribution is of course only oneRead more

The new issue of Mineshaft Magazine is here! This time some of my contributions include a very personal “2020” cover-drawing and my story “On A Morning Stroll With Aline & Robert“, featuring the grand dame of underground comix Aline Kominsky-Crumb giving me my very first yoga experience and her husband Robert, with whom I ponder underwear of the 1800s and sowing on buttons. As always this issue is jam packed with wonderful work by artists like R. Crumb, Billy Childish,Read more

The Mighty Millborough – Les Choses De La Vie.

I am happy to announce that my new book is now available in stores in France, Belgium, Switzerland and Quebec (French only)! Once again it follows the existentialistic adventures of my delineated alter ego Millington F. Millborough, as he roams the American landscape of Sassafras County in the early 1930s. The Mighty Millborough – Les Choses De La Vie’s 128 pages come in a wonderful panorama format (40 x 14 cm!), which should be great fun to read on aRead more

Confessin’ The Blues.

I was asked recently to create six art prints to accompany an upcoming blues compilation curated by non other but The Rolling Stones! Each print illustrates a classic Blues song, which gave me the chance to combine my love for the music with my love for the period and its design, look, and feel. And due to my obsession with vintage fountain pens, even my drawing tools were period-accurate. This project has been a great joy to work on andRead more
